This premium tonneau cover builds on everything enthusiasts love about the BAKFlip MX4—now with integrated rack compatibility thanks to intuitive T-slot side rails, allowing you to quickly and securely mount racks, carriers, tents, and other accessories (sold separately).
As you would expect from BAK® Industries, the BAKFlip MX4 TS delivers top quality and performance. The fully aluminum construction features updated panels with a high-density polymer core, which provides a 22% higher strength compared to the original MX4.
Despite its robustness, the BAKFlip MX4 TS maintains an ultra-low profile and sits nearly flush with the bed edges for a sleek, streamlined appearance. The aluminum alloy is corrosion-resistant and finished with BAK’s exclusive Multi-Shield™ matte black coating, which provides 11x more surface protection and supports a weight capacity of up to 180 kg (evenly distributed).
Also in terms of weather resistance, the BAKFlip MX4 TS performs excellently. Enhanced rubber seals, tight clamps, and a dual-action tailgate seal keep rain and dirt out—allowing you to open and close the tailgate in any position. Any moisture that might enter is drained away through integrated water channels and drain hoses (in most applications).
The BAKFlip MX4 TS not only protects against the elements but also secures your cargo. BAK's updated automatic locking system ensures that the bed is locked in every panel position. At the same time, the T-slot rails offer versatile mounting options for crossbars, baskets, rooftop tents, and more—for maximum load capacity above and below the cover.
The operation is simple: lower the tailgate, unlock the user-friendly latches, and fold the cover forward. For full access to the bed, you can fold it upright against the cab and secure it with sturdy support rods—rubber bumpers prevent damage in the open position. Installation is quick and hassle-free thanks to click-in clamps, reducing the mounting time by 12% compared to the previous model.
